Welcome Back, Panthers!

The start of a new school year is almost here, and we are excited to welcome everyone back to Parma High School! Our teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for a successful year, and we can't wait to see our hallways filled with Panther pride once again.

Registration

Returning students can register online through the parent PowerSchool portal. Once you are logged into your parent account, select your student and navigate to enrollment forms. Ensure you complete each form. If you have more than one student, you will repeat the steps for each one. Payment for dues can be made conveniently by downloading the MySchoolBucks app or in-person via cash, check or card. Our 2026-2027 fee sheet is attached. 

New student registration is this Thursday, August 6th from 9 AM to 6 PM at the respective schools. New students and parents should bring birth certificates, immunization records, proof of residency (utility bill), and a transcript from the previous school. 

Schedules
Schedules will be released through PowerSchool on Thursday, August 6. Schedule changes will be available Monday, August 10, through Thursday, August 20. Schedule change forms and advising are available through the counseling office. Students in 9th and 10th grades should see Mrs. Stokes, while 11th and 12th grade students should see Mrs. Fortin.

Teacher signatures are required for permission to change classes. Before requesting a schedule change, please consider the following:

  • Are you keeping the core classes needed to meet graduation requirements?
  • Are you on track to earn the required number of credits?
  • Are you staying on track with your declared area of concentration?

New Panther Kickoff
Students who are new to Parma High School (grades 9–12) are invited to attend our New Panther Kickoff on Thursday, August 13. Please enter through the gym entrance beginning at 7:45 a.m. The program will run from 8:00–10:30 a.m.

During the event, students will:

  • Parent and student orientation presentation starting from 8-8:45 AM
  • Meet teachers and staff
  • Tour the building
  • Receive their class schedules (if registration is complete)
  • Learn about clubs, activities, and student organizations

First Day of School – Monday, August 17
The building will open at 7:20 a.m. for breakfast. The first bell rings at 7:35 a.m., and the tardy bell rings at 7:40 a.m. COSSA CTE students are invited to remain at PHS for the entire day.

The first day will include our all-school assembly, grade-level meetings, picture day, and our annual all-school BBQ. We have a fun and exciting day planned to kick off the new year together.

We are looking forward to a fantastic 2026–2027 school year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences. Thank you for being part of the Panther family. We can't wait to welcome you back on Monday, August 17.
